I recently celebrated my one year anniversary in my dream role, Research Engineer!
So, when I mentioned someone landing their dream job on the home page, it’s already happened for me!
Random tech projects is how I gained the skills and experience I use every day to make a living. I’ve also earned extra cash, started my own business, and built amazing things for fun. None of what I claimed is B.S. because I’ve proven to myself that it’s possible.
One of the main goals of this site will be to motivate others to accomplish great things for themselves. I have achieved every goal I put in front of me, even though some turned out to less dreamy than expected. You just keep moving forward, grow from your mistakes, and NEVER give up!
After suffering through school, I finally realized I can use the internet to teach myself any skill needed to accomplish any challenge in front of me. All thanks to people who are willing to share! Now I’m in a place where I plan to give back.
We live in a time of unlimited potential, you simply need to choose what to focus on.
This site will act as a place where I share personal projects I’m working on, which will hopefully help others in some way.
I won’t be talking about my dream job, since I work in a world of intellectual property, and the risk simply isn’t worth it. But, I feel comfortable sharing how I learn!
I believe I’m not the only person out there who shuts down in the face of curriculum, regardless of the subject matter! If you do too, please don’t let that make you feel stupid. You’re likely smarter than you, or your school, give you credit for.
You may simply need to learn YOUR WAY!
