This project is currently in the backlog as I work on a plan to get the RTX 4090 24GB graphics card to support a few projects I have in mind. I did end up buying a laptop with a RTX 4060 8GB, but that isn’t quite powerful enough to do everything I’d like to explore. So, I’m putting this in my backlog as a goal to work towards.
AI Model Development
I’ll be using this card to train my own AI models. The open source Stable Diffusion XL1.0 helped me narrow down the specs to ensure I’d be able to train their model for custom image generation. That’ll be a fun project to share!
NVIDIA Omniverse and 3D Game Development
I’m obsessed with getting deep into NVIDIA’s Omniverse! I worked in 3D a fair amount back in the late 90’s early 2000’s, which was the last time I built a custom desktop computer with the intent to support my projects and education. Today we’re looking at a whole new world that I must dive back into, so stay tuned for lots of projects in this domain!
