Watch My Technical Evaluations of UFO/UAP Evidence on YouTube

With the recent surge in “drone” sightings in the skies across the United States over the past few weeks, I’ve decided to expose my personal interest in the UFO/UAP phenomenon. Join me on YouTube as I start a new series where I perform my own technical evaluations of UFO/UAP evidence and come to my own conclusions of what people are seeing!

My Experience

Being a researcher at heart, I’d like to think that I maintain a healthy dose of skepticism. Even when I am an eyewitness to something that I can’t explain.

I live in a UFO hot-spot. Enough so, that tens of thousands of people flock to our city’s yearly alien festival, and a famous photograph of a local UFO sighting from the fifties hangs in the grocery store with other historical photos of the city.

Sasquatch is almost as popular as aliens in this neck of the woods. I’ve even seen one on a billboard! Not IRL though 😉

Honestly, living here heightens my awareness of my own bias towards the paranormal and keeps me focused on facts and data in any evidence I come across.

As a drone pilot, and having volunteered at a local K-12 aircraft educational program, I have a decent understanding of what’s in our skies. Yet, whenever I hear military helicopters lingering in the area, I know it’s time to look out the window to see what they’re interested in.

Last time, a “light” that the choppers were following slowly faded out right in front of them (and me) exactly like the light in this sighting from Colorado Springs that was reported on the MUFON site as seen on 12/30/2024. Look between th “U” and the “F” in the watermark as the light fades out:

No pilot in their right mind would turn off their lights mid-flight and that video was an exact match for what I saw the choppers following a few months ago!

In my case, they were traveling from left to right, so I should have seen a green navigation light validating that fact. Once the light source slowly faded out, I knew that was not an aircraft that I was familiar with! Of course, with nothing left to follow, the choppers also left the area.

In this personal experience, there were too many details that didn’t align with any logical scenario, leaving me with a classification of “unidentifiable“.

Just a couple of weeks ago, there was a communication between air traffic control (ATC) and an Oregon medevac pilot where ATC gave them permission to “navigate as needed to avoid the UFO.”

This video provides some amazing evidence of that event, which happened approximately 60 miles south of me, with ATC comms and aircraft positions from ADS-B/MLAT broadcasts:

With multiple sightings of something that didn’t appear on radar, not to mention the wild flight maneuvers and altitude variations the pilots described, I feel this event has to fall under the category of “unidentifiable“!

An interesting observation I made was how similar the pilot’s description of “lights” was to the MUFON reported sighting, which matches what I saw a few months back – not too far north of the event captured in that video!

We Need More Data!

Based on all that, I have to assume that if I continue looking, I should be able to gather more evidence!

Like the scientist said in the series Beyond: UFOs and The Unknown, “We need more data!”

Tools

Here’s what I plan on having available for any future events in my area to help me gather my own data:

  • A camera! I’ll be sure to have my cellphone handy, but I’m also mounting a camera dedicated to monitoring the sky for anomalies 24-7. I currently have a 2MP Wyze Cam OG, which will work for now until I’m ready to invest more on higher resolution and multiple wavelengths.
  • PDX ATC stream to listen to any live communication about anomalies. I need to learn more about who specifically to listen too for my area.
I believe this is the one used in that video earlier: ZSE Seattle Center (PDX Area)
  • Flight Radar to view any aircraft in the area, exactly as I see them on my drone’s flight app. If I see a plane in the sky, then it should be on radar, unless it’s military. If I fly my drone, will it appear on the map?

I see an opportunity to write up several technical project articles as I get everything set up to eventually collect data for AI analysis!

I’ll be sure to share anything interesting that I learn.

My New Evidence Evaluation Series

Join me as I kick off 2025 with technical projects with a focus on evaluating a variety of UFO/UAP evidence, looking for truly unidentifiable examples.

I’ll even create my own fakes and evaluate those for signs of tampering.

It will be a fun way for me to beef up some skills in tools I’m interested in, like Blender, Unreal Engine, and Davinci Resolve.

I’ll make my first 3D UFO model in USD (Universal Scene Description) and see if I can make that look real while flying over a vinyard. That exercise should help me improve my understanding of how to make and identify fakes.

I’ll learn how to create motion graphic callouts that track various elements of a video while also looking for ways to analyze 3rd party videos for authenticity using Davinci Resolve.

It should be a ton of fun, so be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel if you’d like to follow along!

Stuff Worth Watching

Regardless if you’re skeptical of the recent activity, or not, I have some interesting stuff for you to watch!

I found the series Beyond: UFOs and The Unknown to be extremely convincing. Especially when you consider the testimonials from credible members of the government, scientific, and academic communities!

In that series, they bring up the Congressional hearings on UFOs, which I highly recommend watching. There are tons of shorter videos online if you don’t want to sit through all the formalities. This one is the latest that happened in November 2024:

If you’re ready to take things to the next level, I recommend watching the series Secret of Skinwalker Ranch, which goes much deeper into gathering scientific evidence of a variety of paranormal phenomenon on a single ranch.

An interesting observation I’ve noticed, as they head into their spin-off Beyond Skinwalker Ranch, is a common factor of odd events happening on land that was known to be cursed.

That nuance brings us full circle with the correlation to consciousness mentioned in the Beyond: UFOs and The Unknown series.

Just think about the possibility of a scientifically provable connection between consciousness and paranormal events. Its a fascinating idea!

This next one is almost hard to believe, but with investigations being led by Ben Hanson, former FBI investigator, it’s hard not to!

If the eyewitness accounts in the UFO Witness series are true, it exposes an unnerving perspective of the world we live in. Ben uncovers the potential of multiple alien species with different intentions for humanity, both good and bad.

Conclusion

Well, this article gives you a completely different perspective on how I think about science and technology!

This entire website is supposed to be a place where I document and share projects that I find fun and educational, so it only makes sense that I head into an area that I personally enjoy exploring. It certainly helps that the topic is becoming more mainstream and carries less of a stigma than it did just a few years ago.

If you find the UFO/UAP topic fascinating, be sure to subscribe and follow me as I head into my next technical adventures!
